In 2017, owners Tom and Jak launched Break Escape as a passion project, aiming to craft unforgettable, immersive experiences. Eight years later, their mission remains unchanged. Dedicated to designing family-friendly escape rooms, Break Escape continues to bring people together through adventure and creativity. On 27th January 2017, The Sands Of Time Opened! This marked the beginning of their journey in crafting immersive and thrilling escape experiences.

We are also proud to be consistently offering children’s pricing, to allow family activities to be more accessible.

Behind the scenes, our small but mighty management team handles everything from daily admin to designing and constructing each unique room.

At the heart of it all are Tom and Jak, the creative minds behind every experience. Self-taught builders with a passion for escape rooms, they’ve learned a lot along the way, and they’re always striving to create even bigger and better adventures.
